What Is Venture Capital?

Venture capital is a form of loan granted to individuals or start-up businesses that are thought to have good long-term growth potential. Venture capital will typically be granted to the smaller scale organizations by a wealthy or well-established firm in the belief that their investment will pay off eventually as the newer business venture comes into fruition. Most criteria for venture capital loans will require a customer to demonstrate proof of financial growth, revenue growth, and/or employee growth, or else involve a long assessment process to deem their venture and loan application a worthwhile investment. It doesn’t always come in the form of application, however! Many lucky startups receive funding from like-minded business owners who have established their own niche and simply wish to provide assistance to new business owners
