My nephew says this remote control helicopter makes the list of best Christmas gifts!

The high rating is surprising due to the way the thing blew up in half an hour. My niece did a dive bomb onto a lego set so I don’t blame the helicopter. One of the pieces that act as a counter balance broke off upon slamming into the wood floor.

A little glue and a small wait time for drying and the copter is driving me nuts. It is actually not that loud, but it takes a little practice to fly it right. The toy maker says you’re not suppose to take it outside, which is probably due to the havoc it can cause. It’s also super light, so any wind would most likely make it crash.

It is easy to move up, down, left, or right, and it hovers really well too. The is a built-in gyrostabilizer that does a pretty good job, until you crash it a few times. The say you can use the remote to fly up to 2 helicopters at one time. I can’t imagine how much practice that would take.

The thing was really fun while it lasted. I wish that I figured out the remote prior to letting the kids use it, because there were no instructions in the box. If you knew how to fly it a bit, I bet it would last a while and be fun to play with.

The reason why I like buying gifts is to see people smile and the remote control helicopter did that. I’ll probably wind up buying one or two more because they’re not that expensive and they’re a lot of fun while in the air.

The kids like the remote control helicopter and flying things in general. If you have the right space to fly it, then it’s a great gift idea for kids. There are also videos on YouTube that explain how to fly them.

Just avoid the one-button for take off and landing while it is flying around. That button is what caused it to nose-dive. I give the toy two stars due to no instructions and the way it broke, but I would also buy it again. That is a first.
