Rootstock Wine & Beer Bar is a labor of love from Tonya Pyatt, Jamie McLennan and John Haptonstal and who chose to open a small space in Humboldt Park in 2009. Our focus is on wine and beer of small production with a strong emphasis on organic and biodynamic farming practices. Our chefs Nicholas J. Labno and Edwin Perez support local farmers, hormone free meats, and seasonal produce as often as possible.

Private events available Saturday afternoons between the hours of noon to 4pm and Sunday between the hours of noon to midnight.

Current Art Exhibit by Yulia Kuznetsova. Kuznetsova has had numerous art exhibitions in Chicago, IL., in Seattle, WA., and in Austin, TX. Her art has been featured in various media, such as the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Ambassador, Block Club Chicago Magazine and others. Yulia has also been presented on various radio shows, namely, WGN Radio, iHeart Radio, and Que4 Radio. Yulia Kuznetsova now works as a Studio Manager for the artist Tony Fitzpatrick and The Dime Gallery in Chicago. She is also a former volunteer at the Intuit Art Center and a current volunteer at the Woman Made Gallery.
