Profile
Spades is an American trick-taking card game that was made in the 1930s. It can be played with a partner or “cutthroat” (by yourself). The goal is to win as many tricks as the number of “books” that was bid before the hand started. Spades is related to the card games Bridge, Hearts, and Oh Hell, which are all part of the Whist family. It is different from other versions of Whist in that the Spade suit always wins, instead of the highest bidder or chance. This is where the name comes from. Now you can play spades online on your phone.
In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven society, more and more people are feeling lonely. It might get worse if people with depression, anxiety, or other mental illnesses tend to stay away from others.
When you play Spades online for free with family and friends, you get to spend time with them. When you’re young, playing is a great way to learn how to get along with other people. This is still true as an adult. Whether you play games in person or online, your interactions feel natural and unplanned. Playing a card or board game makes it easier to talk to each other, gets people to work together, and creates a spirit of friendly competition.
