ARUSI was founded to provide cutting-edge solutions to the utilities design and engineering industries. At the time, utility distribution lagged behind other industries in its adoption rates of new technologies, procedures, and best practices. This stalled technological advancement, creating a gap in the marketplace that ARUSI recognized and stepped in to fill.
ARUSI quickly established itself as a market leader for its focus on planning, engineering, and construction of electrical distribution systems and associated services. This is owed largely to founder Alex Reynoso’s deep and expansive knowledge and experience in the field.

It is with great pleasure and pride that I reflect on my more than 50 years of experience in the energy industry. From my beginnings at Arizona Public Service Company to the founding of ARUSI, my commitment to excellence and innovation has remained steadfast.
Over the past 35 years, ARUSI has been at the forefront of providing exceptional engineering and design services to utility and communication companies throughout Arizona and the Southwest. We have consistently leveraged the latest technological advancements, such as drones, PLS CADD modeling, and software tools, to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality service and results.
Our team is dedicated to serving as the crucial link between project owners, design-build teams, contractors, utility companies, and regulatory bodies. We understand the importance of addressing utility needs and identifying and mitigating conflicts during the design process. Our aim is to ensure that our customers receive optimal outcomes that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
