In a time that we are struggling to recognize each other as equals, I believe that understanding our tendencies to be passive or aggressive, and striving towards being #assertive is key.
Whether it is in #leadership, or as a contributor; in #business or personal, these #emotionalintelligence skills help us to have greater #selfawareness and #empathy.
And we could all use a bit more empathy right now.

I debated a lot about when I should post my latest article. I originally believed it was critical because of covid19 . I still believe that it is crucial for this reason, but also am sensitive to the current events. However, amidst the horrific tragedy of George Floyd , I think this is even more important. I pray that this doesn’t seem insensitive among the current events, but rather shows my heart of helping us process our emotions. For now, I hope that this article will help us begin to reevaluate our own emotions around grief and to stop comparing suffering.

9 months ago I wrote and shared the below article on LinkedIn. In the past week, I have found multiple occasions that I needed my own words read back to me. I hope resharing this could be useful to someone here as well!

I get that interviews are stressful. We all want to put our best foot forward and show confidence. But what if we also showed curiosity? See my thoughts below

Have you struggled with your identity to work? Most of us do. What if we started thinking differently? What if we thought of ourselves as #morethan our work or title?
