I had a pleasant experience today, even though it was a “we’ve decided to go with other candidates at this time”.

I noticed it was sent from a recruiter I’ve already been in contact with on LinkedIn, so I replied to the email asking for feedback on what I could do better moving forward elsewhere.

She’s the first recruiter to have ever replied back to me with feedback. And it really just came down to the hiring manager wanting someone with more role experience.

Recruiter: You know who you are, and you made my day. A little goes a long way. I fully plan on keeping in contact in case you have other openings or if I know someone else that would be interested. 😊
