About Me |
Red never should have been in sales. After graduating with a history degree two months after the fall of Lehman brothers, He knew he did not want a career subject to someone else’s whims He found a job as a stockbroker in a boutique firm and started a career in sales he never plans to get out of. As a natural hide-in-the-basement introvert, he had to teach himself sales one brick at a time. Red had to create systems, processes, and data to learn what did and did not work in the sales world while constantly researching new methods. Now Red is the head of Broken Salespeople, which seeks to help those of us who are not sales “naturals” learn how to sell in an emotionally intelligent way that keeps employees and clients happier. He teaches the skills he learned though thousands of cold calls, door knocks, and consultations to people so they don’t suffer the difficulties he did.
