For the past few years, LinkedIn has offered a feature called the Services Marketplace (formerly LinkedIn Profinder) to connect professionals with individuals seeking the services they provide.
These service offerings include, but are not limited to, resume writing, career coaching, and interview preparation.
Job seekers or career changers in the market for the above services are allowed to request proposals from resume writers, career coaches, and interview specialists to find a suitable match for their project.
During the process of gathering proposals, some job seekers have an incorrect assumption that I would like to help clarify.
Services are not included in one’s premium subscription, nor are they free. Service providers will send proposals, often explaining their fit for the project and their fee for completing the job.
There is no need to be alarmed, as this portion of the platform was created for this purpose.
This post aims to assist job seekers, ensuring they are not disappointed when using the service.
While the Services Marketplace is a valuable feature, it is beneficial to know what to expect before utilizing it.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties and are seeking assistance, @Jobready2dey offers services that can help open doors for you.
