Kurtis Tompkins to Jobready2dey a year ago ·
A lady, let’s call her Jen, was invited to attend an informal meeting about an opportunity.
Jen accepted the invitation and gathered in a space with around 10 people, some of whom she had met previously.
She expected to expound on topics that had been previously discussed in an earlier meeting with the few audience members that were present, but things took an interesting turn.
Leaders in the room began throwing interview-like questions at her left and right.
The good thing is that while Jen was confused, she skillfully and effectively answered each question.
Jen secured the opportunity that day because she maintained an attitude of readiness to close the sale.
How does this relate to job seekers?
Job seekers should remain interview-ready, whether they have an interview coming up or not!
Conversations can start at the gym, restaurants, the grocery store, and many other venues, and you never know where they will lead.
Some jobs are offered outside of the office, folks!
Are you interested in refining your strategy so that you stay interview-ready?
