"I like to interact and network with people from all around the world. Through various conferences and seminars/ webinars that I attended, I came across few female programmers and realized that this community is lacking a platform where they can express their knowledge to the masses. I also noticed that at various tech conferences, any given panel would have more male members than female.
Women are already ahead in so many fields. But when it comes to technology, there is still an imbalance as maybe they are not given equal opportunities. I wanted to create or join a platform that could support women in tech – especially those who are just starting their careers.
Fortunately, I found what I was looking for in GirlScript Foundation – a nonprofit organization that helps beginners – in the field of computer science, IT, etc. and trains the female candidates free of cost.
I strongly believe if someone has the necessary skills and qualities, they should get an equal opportunity to excel, irrespective of their gender.”

@suprabhatdas is just great. Among all the activities he is involved with, he is the Group Manager of my ‘Electronic, Electrical and Electromechanical Repair and Maintenance’ Group in LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/12149133/). I’m sure you will enjoy the technical articles he shares in the Group, even if you are not related to the R&M.
