If you want a successful acting career, you need more than just talent – you have to understand how the acting business works! In this workshop successful working actor, Mark Atteberry, will break down the process into bite size pieces and provide a complete understanding of everything in the acting business – from getting an agent to landing an audition. This is not an acting class, but rather a comprehensive overview of the strategies and principles you need to promote your talent and navigate your way through the entertainment industry. Become the type of actor an agent and casting director would want to work with, by taking this workshop and learning the essentials of the business principles of acting.

– Land and nail auditions for television, film, commercials, new media, and more.ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Mark Atteberry is an award winning actor, photographer, and director. As a working actor, Mark’s film work includes blockbuster hits like David Fincher’s “Gone Girl” and Ang Lee’s “The Hulk.” Some of Mark’s television work includes “NCIS,” “For the People” (which put him in contention for an Emmy nomination), “S.W.A.T.,” “Grace and Frankie,” “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Code Black,” “Scandal,” “Black-ish,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Criminal Minds,” “Dexter,” “Rules of Engagement,” “Justified,” “24” and many more.
As a photographer and director, Mark is known for his indie films, advertising, and headshot work. His clients include NBC, CBS, A&E, Bravo, CAA, ICM, WME, Venice Magazine, and many more.
Mark also teaches and lectures regularly around the globe on the subjects of “Branding, Image and Type” and “Acting in L.A.” He has co-written several books on the topic of acting including “The Working Actor’s Guide to L.A.” and “The Stunt Guide.” Mark is a member of SAG/AFTRA and the founder and owner of the Be A Working Actor Studios in Los Angeles.
