I have been a self-employed dog sitter for going 14 years and have taken care of some of the most interesting dogs but the most memorable was a female Boston Terrier I took care of for 12 years. She was the most quietest, the most calm and sweetest dog I had ever taken care of. In all the years I took care of her, I can count on one hand the number of times she barked. I loved that dog like she was my own. When she died in 2018, I am not embarrassed to confess that it just broke my heart. I have other dogs I take care of plus one of my own but there will always be a big piece of my heart for that very special Boston Terrier.
This is our beloved Shorty. He’s an American Staffordshire Terrier mix ( we think there’s Boxer in there from what genetic testing shows). He’s 6 years old and came to us as a stray. Whoever dropped him off in the country to let him fend for himself have no clue what they gave up. He’s very intelligent, healthy, happy, loved and returns the love to us in so many ways!
Hello everyone! Posting pictures of a few of my dogs. They are the ancient breed ( 6000 years old) Basenjis. I am a dedicated breeder and have lived with this wonderful unique breed for 14 years now. The dogs in the pictures are- the big striped one is Diesel. He is 8 years old. The two little ones are puppies from my last litter (1 year old now) red one is Herman and tricolor one is Emma ♥️
Looking forward to to seeing your posts in this group.
