I was watching the Rachael Ray show today and I saw Jeff Mauro on there. It was easy to go over to Amazon to buy a copy of Come On Over: 111 Fantastic Recipes for the Family That Cooks, Eats, and Laughs Together!
Jeff Mauro grew up in a big Italian American Family in Chicago, with a mother that loved to cook and entertain friends. Her favorite phrase was “Come on Over!” I want to learn how to cook for my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and family friends too!
It turns out that Jeff is also the host of the Emmy-nominated The Kitchen on Food Network. Therefore, that will be making its way into my daily viewing schedule. I look forward to learning how to cook some of those recipes they have listed on the Amazon page. Cooking really is the best way to create memories and bonds with people.
