Hello all, I’m still trying to get into the swing of using this Social platform…forgive me if it takes me awhile to respond.

    • Just take it one day at a time. This platform is actually pretty easy to use. Just post what is going on in your life or career. What can we do for you? What can you do for us? It’s all about Win-Win relationships.

    • No worried, just post something that you can do for us and then let us know what we can do for you. It’s that simple. Win-Win relationships is all we are looking for!!

Well, i figured out most of my caching and storage issues, so the site will run fast most of the time.

If I dump the cache, which I will have to do a few times a day, until I get bigger servers, it will run slow, until the files have been loaded a few times.

However, I am pumped it runs like it does right now, because it’s much better than I expected. It can handle the traffic for the most part.

I’ll be on and off in regards to my availability depending on how much I have to do on the back end.

Working on the notification bug, then image optimization and who viewed your profile.

    Tip For ya!

When you forget someone\’s name, say:

    \”What was your name again?\”

They\’ll respond with their first name, maybe sad you forgot.

But quickly reply — No, no, your LAST name.

Happily they tell you and aren\’t sad anymore!

Now you have their first and last name with out hurting their feelings.

@maryhenderson and I are interviewing SPN Members of the week🎯 I have a great form that will help create an amazing interview for the Member of the Week. Are you ready to Grow 🎋We will be sharing the interview on other Social Media Platforms which will help grow your Social Media following 😁👍 @mikeoconnor has done a great job of creating a platform to help us all grow and create that Win-Win Marketing.

    • @Craig Wasilchak – great idea and I know the follow through will be spot on. Can’t wait so see the first one!!! Thank you @Mike O’Connor for all you have done.

    • @Mike OConnor – Love it!!! The proof is in the pudding.

    • Love it!! Thanks Mike!

      • Thanks! We have work to do especially on mobile (developing app early in the new year), but it is coming along. I appreciate you guys being here to help lay the foundation. Share your LinkedIn articles and posts with images and you’ll have good results.

Putting your url in the first 140 characters will also help results.

        • Question for you Mike. When you say put your URL in the first 140 characters… which URL do you mean?

For example, if I’m sharing my LinkedIn article on your site, are you saying to paste my LinkedIn article URL in the first 140 characters? Thank you!

          • Yes, that is what I am saying. I share most things (eventually) that get posted to this site. If you guys put a url in the first 140 characters, then it will be a live URL on other platforms after I share it.

If you post a LinkedIn update url into the little chain icon it will generate a preview that I can pin in most cases. It works really well if your LinkedIn update has an image.

If you share an image here and go back to write text after you upload the image into your update drop a link in the first 140 characters.

Hi everyone! I have the first 💥Challenge for our Network.💥 I am still searching for a position. On Monday, I found out that the job I thought was a shoe-in was given to another candidate. I had to find out through the grapevine. But, that\’s okay because that means there is a better fit out there.

I live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area – specifically Plano and I am looking for a company that is small to medium size. The position is usually a \”Controller or Accounting Manager\” type reporting to the Owner or Managing partner.

I have 30 years of experience and 10 -15 of them as a Controller or Accounting Manager. Since the age of 18 I have worked side by side with CPA\’s. This is important, because I was not able to finish my degree in accounting. I have around 130 college credit hours but they span over 20 years. I have experience and a lot of education along with practical knowledge and application. There are owners out there, that do put the experience high up on the priority list and those are the owners that I am trying to find.

✨ Challenge✨- do you think you know anyone who could guide me to the right company or the right owner? Also, my profile here and on LinkedIn reflect my resume and skill set. ❓If you have any questions❓, don\’t hesitate to ask. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. 💯💯💯

    • Hi Ivonne, sorry I am so late getting back to this. My week has been a whirlwind. I really appreciate the connection request and will do so on LinkedIn. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. Thanks, David

I have been a Corp Recruiter for Oxford for over 18 years. I recruit people who want to start a career in sales. I work closely with the candidate and hiring manager to ensure a perfect match!

  • David R. Smith posted an update 2 years ago

Hi all, I am still on the job search. I am looking for a Controller position in the North Dallas area working with a small to medium sized company. To make things even more challenging, I have been a Controller or Accounting Manager for companies for the last 10 – 15 years but I was never able to complete my degree. Since the age of 18, I have worked side by side with CPA\’s and soaked up everything they had to teach me. The thing is, I know my limits and don\’t try to pretend to know things I don\’t. I have around 130 college credit hours over a period of 20 years so I do have an education just not completed. There are owners out there who would like the experience I have and not have to pay the amount they would someone with a CPA or Masters. Most generally, they will have an outside CPA that the Controller would work with anyway. That is the setup that I work with or within the best! So, the challenge is to see who can find a company that would be willing to give me a chance! They won\’t be disappointed. Please feel free to ask me any question you would like! Thank you!!!

    • David, keep expressing what is going on. The time of search is a time of rooting. Gathering new resources.
I know a company will be happy to have you with your experience! Keep faith!

  • Train your mind: I agree with all the 11+ minutes of the video. Thanks for sharing, Mike.

We all need help. None of us can do it on our own.

It’s hard to climb the mountain or simply find happiness with all the help in the world.

No matter it requires work. Yea, it requires work to be happy.

Happiness is often a choice just like success is often a choice.

Make the choice to be happy and successful.

Make a choice to do the work, put in the hours and do the things you need to do to be successful and happy.

It doesn’t matter how you define success or happiness. Work must be done.

You’ll be happy you did the work and you’ll feel successful, when you know you did the work to make the right changes in your life.

You can often find you adding to your life by subtracting from it.

Eliminate the fluff. Turn off the white noise. Focus on your gut instincts and go out bravely to chase down your dreams.

Stop and smell the roses once in a while, but don’t stop long. Push until things are as you need them to be.

You’ll never regret doing the work to make yourself happy or believing in yourself.

    Have a great day!

Everyday I learn something new on Linkedin. I learn about tips, companies, personalities, inspirations, etc. I still have alot to learn in how to actually interact and market my business. I have followed tips posted by many in how to engage and comment more on posts, but I have noticed since doing that, my posts have less views, has anyone experienced this?

    • Are you still using the Floor Clinic as your name on LinkedIn? Switch to Jessica and you’ll see a bump. People were most likely tuning initially to see what your profile was about. However, people tend to prefer names on their connections. You can also make a business page, if you have an email address that matches your company domain. Some people also suck, so they report people that don’t use their names. That can factor into it too.

💥WOW 💥Business who utilize a Postage Meter to send out mail will receive almost a 10% discount on postage starting in 2019💥 Proposed USPS Rates. 🛑 New Stamped 1 oz 1st Class Letter Mail .55 Cents
✅ New Stamped 1 oz 1st Class Letter Mail .50 Cents This is a huge win for Businesses that send out 1 piece of mail or hundreds of pieces per day.
